Application & Intake Privacy Disclosures

This disclosure supplements our Privacy Policy and applies specifically to the sensitive information collected through our intended parent, gestational surrogate, and egg donor application and intake forms.

1.Purpose of This Disclosure

Because our intake process asks for sensitive personal information — including medical, genetic, and mental/behavioral health information, and information about race or ethnicity — we provide this additional, specific disclosure about what we collect, why, and how it is used, consistent with California's requirements for Sensitive Personal Information under the CCPA/CPRA.

2.Categories of Information Collected, By Applicant Type

3.Why We Collect This Information; Who We Share It With

We collect this information to evaluate eligibility under recognized medical and psychological screening standards (including guidance published by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine), to facilitate accurate matching, and to support the legal and medical steps involved in a surrogacy or egg donation arrangement.

We share relevant portions of this information with:

  • Independent physicians, IVF clinics, and mental health professionals who perform medical and psychological evaluations
  • Background check companies, with your consent
  • Independent legal counsel engaged in connection with your match
  • Matched counterparties (for example, sharing a surrogate's relevant profile information with a matched intended parent, and vice versa), as necessary to facilitate the match
  • Service providers who support our operations (such as our CRM and e-signature platforms), under confidentiality obligations

We do not sell this information.

5.Retention and Your Choices

We retain application and intake information for as long as necessary to support your journey, comply with legal and contractual recordkeeping requirements associated with surrogacy arrangements, and resolve any disputes. You may withdraw your application at any time and may request deletion of your information, subject to information we are required to retain by law or by an executed agreement.
